Vehicle Crashes Through Roof of Evansville, IN, Casino

Firefighters attending a conference immediately responded and assisted until Evansville crews arrived.

Charges are pending against the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a building and landed upside down in the Executive Conference Center on top of an escalator.

The vehicle went off a parking garage's seventh floor and crashed through the Bally Casino roof, according to WEHT.

The driver got out of the vehicle on his own and was transported to a hospital.

The casino remained open during the incident, and no patrons were injured.

Evansville Police say charges include criminal recklessness and criminal mischief. The name and extent of injuries has not been announced at this time.
